Today is the 9th of January, and is it HOT here!
Tomorrow is the last day to sign up for the Valentine Swap.
I will wait until the 10th of January is completely over in the Northern Hemisphere though. *Grin*
So if you’ve been thinking about it and haven’t made up your mind yet, now is the time to do so.

Last year I was going to do a few swaps and never did. So now is the time! *grin*
I’m going to do another Valentine Day Swap. Some of you might have joined us in 2011. I hope you might join again, tell your friends and spread the word. *grin*
For this Valentine Swap you will be making a small handmade item with a HEART on it, and posting it off to your partner in time to be RECEIVED BY the 14th of February.
If you wish to participate, please take into consideration the time frame to do the swap. You will have between 4 and 5 weeks to complete and post your gift.
You can make whatever you’d like. Make something you love to make, and something you’d love to receive yourself. For example, it could be a pincushion with a heart on it, a needle case, or some sort of little bag….the choice is yours. Maybe you could use fabric with hearts on it. Keep the item smallish so that you have enough time to make it, and it will be easy to post. Remember your swap gift needs to arrive at its destination by Valentine’s Day.
If you’d like to join, just leave a comment and I’ll email those interested with more details when the sign-up closes.
Make sure I have your email address.
One of the questions I’ll be asking you will be if you prefer to send or not send overseas. There will be no obligation to do so.
The swap is open to everyone, that includes our internationals friends.

I’ve heard those stories of people joining swaps and never receiving their little gift, or receiving it very late. So PLEASE, if you join, make sure that you follow through. It really puts people off swaps and takes the joy out of them when others don’t respect the swap guidelines. Enough said, eh? *grin*
